Mango Shaved Ice @ZenQ |
It seems whether it is summer or winter, iced desserts are enjoyed by our fam. We checked out ZenQ to try their snacks and desserts. They serve some decent snacks of crispy chicken, fish cakes, squid
and octopus balls, and even braised pork. On top of that, we thoroughly enjoyed
their drinks and desserts.

The girls loved their Peach Refresher with tapioca pearls
and grass jelly.

The adults enjoyed the Tofu Pudding with red bean, grass
jelly, tapioca, taro and Q balls (like a rice cake which has a nice chewiness
and cut into balls).

The ZenQ grass jelly with Q ball and the Mango Shaved Ice
were just so-so for us. The grass jelly had a distinct herbal taste which was
slightly bitter. We know it has its many health benefits and takes some time to
be processed, but I daresay, is an acquired taste. As for the shaved ice,
it was nice and light but we prefer the Korean shaved ice.

All in all, service was fast and friendly and desserts are
good—if you prefer something not rich and heavy. DD#2 has declared it as
another go-to dessert place.
