Last summer, my family started to get into biking. DD#2 had
been out of training wheels for over a year and Hubby and I decided to get
bikes of our own as well. Thing was, we only had the endurance (for temperatures)
for about 3 months in a year—when temperatures are still double digits.

Good thing we discovered Joyride150 Indoor Bike Park at
Markham. Now there is a place to bike all year long. Joyride150 is a
102,000sq/ft indoor biking facility for bike riders of all disciplines & skill levels. They have beginner/sport/expert sections, a foam pit, a BMX
street park, tracks, a cross-country loop with climbs and much more.

Even if kids are in training wheels, there is
something for them! Bikes (and push bikes for beginners), helmets
and padding are available for rent. They also have a retail concession counter with snack, drinks,
bicycle parts and accessories.
Available as well are various programs, workshops, camps, lessons,
and races/competitions among other events. They have private party rooms and a spacious
common area with picnic tables and couches for folks to put down their stuff or
to share a pizza with friends.
There is something for everyone – beginner riders to pros
will find challenges, fun, and fitness. My girls enjoy practicing their biking
here and love the various obstacles. Our bikes no longer have to go on a hiatus
in fall and winter. Yay!
